Crypt of Lanmeur
In the heart of Lanmeur, Saint Melar church holds a Norman crypt (9th century), one of the oldest in Brittany. The vaults are standing on pillars. The biggest ones have prominent remains: they are said to be ancient Roman columns which were reused. It costs 0,20 euros to get the crypt lit.

The seven islands
The archipelago of the 7 islands is a classified nature reserve which shelters 27 species of nesting birds. The crew will teach you to distinguish all these species. The protective league of birds (LPO) takes care of this exceptional natural heritage. A colony of around thirty grey seals stays there all year long.

Rosanbo castle

Roche Jagu castle

Trobodec valley
Small valley which leads to Vilin Izella beach. On the spot, a mill with its big wheel and, in the meadow, a couple of cows takes care of the site maintenance. On the heights, Beg an Fri site, the rocky, vertical hillock, seems to split the sea like a boat. Close to it, you can visit the rural museum of the Trégor where ancient agricultural and marine tools of the region are exposed.

Morlaix
At the heart of the valleys, Morlaix, thanks to its sheltered arbour, has been the core of commercial and all other surrounding activities for centuries. There lived rich traders and shipowners and you could recruit formidable corsair crews. Of these ceaseless trades arose the incredible historical and architectural wealth of the city: “maison à pondalez” unique in the world, houses with timber framing, 17th century stone houses, alleys, terrace gardens… One of the most beautiful heritages of Finistère.
Home of the Duchess Anne
aristocratic house of 1520-1530 year with a particularly well-preserved example of a house known as “lantern“ or “pondalez“. The covered courtyard is decorated with a monumental staircase prestige oak richly decorated.

Religious enclosures
Small and cute island located in front of Roscoff, it is accessible by boat in 20 minutes. It is far enough from the continent for the inhabitants to live a peaceful life. Its small surface, its coasts made of changing zigzags, allow a direct view on the sea wherever you are. Few cars and some tractors help the horses to do their job on the fields cultivated with great care. This island has 20 beaches and a nice climate. Many departures for day trip during the summer from the Diben harbour.

The mounts of Arrée
Covering largely the regional park of Armoric, this is Brittany off the beaten track. The setting is almost intact, a mysterious country of legends. The term mounts -the summit of which reaches 384m- can seem exaggerated, but the landsape is real and offers lots of beautiful views. Some sites you have to see : the 11th century abbey at Le Relecq, the ecomuseum of Kerouat, the Cornec house, the Wolf Museum close to the Landes of Gragou, the roc’h (or rock) Trududon. The naturalist association SEPNB Bretagne Vivante (Living Brittany) proposes outings to discover carnivorous and fossilised plants, beavers on the river Ellez, Landes birds…

The Museum of the wolf (canis lupus of) offers exposure to a total area of ??400 m². Each room is a theme, and you have access to a dozen rooms.
Open: Sundays from April to novembrede 14h to 18h. Throughout the year, the second Wednesday during the school holidays from 14h to 18h.

Relecq Abbey
The abbey was founded in 1132 Relec. Its location in the valley Queffleuth, the lower slopes of Arree obeys the Cistercian ideal. A large Romanesque church changed over time, the remains of the cloister area, two ponds, a road lined with tall trees, a monumental fountain and old gardens surrounded by deep moats still testify to the presence of the monks Cistercian for six centuries.
